Hey, I'm a sucker for haunted house shows.

And Lauren Stamile! Rowr.

Decent production values. Thin but obvious plot. Hot Cajun "Josette"
(and/or Victoria Winters if you prefer) - there was a LOT of "Dark
Shadows" backstory borrowed for this. I've spent 2 hours of TV time on
much worse, but I didn't exactly rush out to see the next show with
"Nora Roberts" name over the title either.

Fred, watching a 'Nora Roberts' Lifetime movie - heh!

I watched:

World Cup soccer - First, Uruguay beat South Korea. But I was
disappointed in finally seeing Uruguay - I thought they'd be better.
Uruguay could easily lose to the winner of the next game, which was...
USA vs. Ghana. A depressing affair - consistently sloppy defense from
the American's has plagued them all through this tournament, and it
finally got them in the end. A good offensive effort kept the Americans
afloat during regulation time. But they finally ran out of gas against
the younger, faster Ghanian team in 'extra' time. The clock has run out
on The U.S. I'm afraid... :(
But keep an eye on Ghana - I think they can take out Uruguay.

Flashpoint (recorded) - It's amazing how good Kathleen Robertson still
looks after 15 years! - she and Lindsay Price must have Rings of Power
or something, because they look *loads* better than Jennie Garth or
Shannen Dohery or Tori Spelling or the others from "BH 90210"!!
Anyway, I didn't buy large stretches of this episode - I think it was
poorly written and contrived. For example, when they found out that
Robertson's boyfriend had taken the kids, why didn't they call the
hostage-taking husband to tell him that to try to use that info to
convince him that the wife and the lawyer had nothing to do with the
kids' disappearance. And the whole sequence at the end, with the faux
"tension" between Ed and Greg, I just didn't buy.
This episode was good at the emotionally-manipulative part - I just
think the plot fell well short.

Rookie Blue (recorded) - Not surprisingly, I liked this. It was a little
disappointing that Gregory Smith and Charlotte Sullivan didn't show up
much in this episode, but presumably they'll be more front and center in
later episodes.
But, though totally implausible (all this happens on a "first
day"?!!), I liked this.
So, is everyone in this cast Canadian?!...

Degrassi:TNG - The episode where Riley "comes out" - meh.
(But, now just one episode left - and it's a 'Holly J' epie!
YaY!!!!!! :D )

There was nothing on, so later in the evening I watched "Sonny With a
Chance" reruns. :D

So are they all supernatural or bodice rippers or what?

I don't think all the Nora Roberts flicks are supernatural - it seems
like about half of them are, while the other half seem to be more just
straight procedurals.

They're all 'bodice rippers' though, yeah... ;p

I'd probably watch Lauren Stamile in about anything, and I'd certainly
watch Josette again. Amazingly, they managed not to make Jerry
O'Connell annoying.
