I know it must be the makeup (check out the nose... is that really
Depp's?)
but that profile of Barnabas, looks great. He's obviously younger
looking than Frid was, though, I believe they are probably really
close in age when they each portray B.C. I think Frid was around 42
when he started, and I believe Depp is still in his '40s, though older
than 42.
It actually reminds me of some cartoon-like drawings I seem to
remember of Barnabas from around that era; not the Gold Key comic,
which was a decent depiction, mostly the nice covers, not so much the
interior art. Now what am I half-remembering.... ?
