I was hoping maybe for Jamie Lee Curtis as Liz, but this might work.

What part is this Bella Heathcote signed to play? By the way, if they
have this Eva Green with blonde hair, she might be good as Angelique.

I'm pretty sure BH is signed to play Victoria Winters.
And Eva Green is Angelique. I was looking at her on IMDB and you're
right. With some blonde hair she could be quite striking as Angelique.

I think Hoffman is a great fit for HBC, perfect for her patented
scenery-chewing - should be fun!

Even though she may be a little old for the role (although she sure
doesn't look it), Michelle Pfeiffer would have been an incredible
Angelique. On the flipside of the coin, Liz seems a bit too matronly of
a role for her, but it will be interesting to see how it works if she
does do it.

Michelle Pfeiffer is 53. Joan Bennett was only 3 years older when she
premiered as Liz. She's certainly more than old enough to have a
daughter in her 20s.

True that. And it is sometimes hard to believe MP has been on the
scene for a relatively long time now (Gah- time flies! it's even been
just over 20 years since she did Batman Returns, hard to believe).
I think what Diva meant is that she isn't quite as "matronly"- not so
much about her age- but about her being what most would consider more
of a Motherly type of presence.
And i do agreew that a few decades or so less and she'd be a fantastic
Angelique.

That said- i know she is quite versitile and has turned out some
incredile performances over the years. And i look forward to seeing
who they get for Roger and whoever else they have in store for the
movie. So far- i'm not hating the choices and kudos for using some
relatively unknowns for some parts.

And to add- as always... we shall see...
lol

Cheers!

Thanks Eddie, for helping clarify what I said! Yes, it wasn't about
Pfeiffer's age but her image - she's just so youthful, vibrant and
gorgeous that it's hard to picture her playing such a subdued role as a
housebound matriarch. But she's a very good actress and I'm sure she
could do very well in the role.

As for Roger, I'll cast my vote for Daniel Craig.
