Michelle Pfeiffer was on Live With Kelly yesterday to talk about her
film "New Year's Eve," but they also discussed the DS movie as well.

Michelle said she was another childhood fan who ran home from school to
watch, and about a month after mentioning to her husband that it would
make a great movie idea, she read that her "Batman Returns" director
Burton was making it, so she called him about participating in it.

Kelly Ripa said she also stayed up late to watch DS in reruns.

Which raises the question, leading up to the movie how come
nobody is running the original on TV?

You'd think someone would run it to adveritise the movie.

Since it is released through Warner Bros. you'd think the CW
would run the original series to advertise the movie.

They probably do not want to compete.

Well, television is in the house, and firstrun movies are down the
street somewhere.
