So Vicki gets stuck in the past, and suddenly (so far, anyway) we lose
track of the 20th century storyling. I would have understood
alternating, but so far five uninterrupted 1795 episodes. Oh well,
perhaps in the next set.

And set 4 also contained the first episode that actually annoyed me!
Episode 361, an entire half hour (well, twenty-some odd minutes
anyway) with nothing but Julia screaming and wailing in fear.

Despite these comments, I'm still enjoying the show over all though.

Most fans LOVED the 1795 Flashback. It does go on for some time, and we
learn how Barnabas came to be a vampire.

Even though the Leviatian story arc is the most hated,
it's still much better than even the best episodes of
crap like Seinfeld.

Eh, I like the Leviathan episodes. Of course, I'm a Lovecraft fan, so
maybe I have a finer appreciation of the homage.

There was so much potential in that storyline, but it just didn't make
it. Maybe the writers didn't know Lovecraft all that well.

I'd love to see CALL OF CTHHULHU properly made into a major movie!

I wouldn't say I don't enjoy the 1795 episodes, but a while bunch of
characters go left behind in the future. I'm sure I'll eventually see
them again though.

I'll probably take a break for a few weeks now. Rather busy. But I'll
definately return.

Aww, that's one of my favorite episodes! But it helps if you're a fan
of Hoffman. I find it hysterically funny.
But i can totally see where someone who does not like Julia or find
her hilarious might be highly annoyed by it.. yes.
