Hi, I'm Mike. It's been a long time since I posted to any Dark Shadows message board. On the old AOL Dark Shadows chat room, I went by the name of: davidcollins and sometimes: DirtMan486. On the Dark Shadows IRC I went by the name of: DirtMan. I was a mod there for a few years.

I attended the DS Fest in 1999 at the World Trade Center Marriot and a Halloween party hosted at the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion that was organized by long time AOL user: QuentinEd. At the Halloween party I got to sit and have a great conversation with Louis Edmonds, and got to knock back a few drinks with John Karlen.

I look forward to talking to ya'll more, and maybe even starting back up the old IRC chats. I'll have to brush up on my mIRC skills first though. :)

Good to see this. I keep noticing people wanting to chat DS and then it all sorta fizzles out. I was randomly checking google groups to give a gander.

An IRC chat would be wild to see these days, but I do know chat rooms exist in other forms. (Even with microphone access. Video cams, too for a price.) I'm always up for studying the program and shooting the breeze.
