I just saw the Wikipedia article about the new movie, and was surprised
that they have listed a different actor and actress as playing Joshua
and Naomi in 1795, rather than Jonny Lee Miller and Michelle Pfeiffer.

It also describes Christopher Lee's character as Silas Clarney, a "king
of the fishermen who spends a lot of time at the local pub, The Blue
Whale."

Guess the vampire bug has "bitten" Johnny Depp. His Wikipedia article
says that he "plans to star" as Kolchak in "The Night Stalker."

After reading the Wikipedia article, I checked IMDb, and saw that there
is an actress whose role is simply billed as "David's Mother." Must be
an extremely small part if they didn't even bother to bill her as Laura
Collins.

They also had cast listings for Vicki's mother and father. Guess they
won't be exploring any Liz/VIcki connection.

i did notice that about Daviid's mother. Perhaps setting up for a
sequel if it does well.
Also- originally they had Christopher Lee listed as Bill Malloy and
now it's someone else. I was wondering how they'd fit his little side
story with Vicki in there. Looks like they are not going to. Just as
well..

What a name! Is that an anagram?

Yes, Silas must like his seafood fresh. He thinks "cans are silly."
