Boy howdy. A new contender for 'worst writing ever'
Shatner's the dad saddled with a cheating wife (the painfully thin Susan
Blakely), druggie gang member daughter, and druggy most useless jerk
that ever lived please somebody run him down with a bus son, and it's
all his fault 'cause he works too hard.
I vividly remember Shatner promoting the film "The Devil's Rain
(1975)" on Johnny Carson's Tonight Show. Shatner extolled that this
one of the finest dramas in which he appeared just prior to the film
clip. In the clip, we see people faces melt. The sequence was
laughable in the extreme, a true turkey.

re House of Dark Shadows, saying he thought Dan Curtis went way
overboard with the blood and gore just because he could ...
