Just heard that Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who played David in the revival
series, may be playing the Riddler in the next Batman movie.

Not sure if this is just rumor, but he has certainly made quite a name
for himself in the movies as a young adult actor after DS. He really
played David well, I thought - believably creepy when he was plotting
and scheming against Vicki, yet with the innocence of a scared little
boy at times, too.

Actually, I've always thought it would be hilarious to cast Alex Trebek
as The Riddler. "I'm sorry, Batman, but you didn't phrase that in the
form of a question..." :)

If you are an "SCTV" fan, Eugene Levy had Alex Trebek down cold, with his
Alex Trebel character on "Half-Wits" and "Night School Hi-Q".

I did watch SCTV, loved Bob and Doug McKenzie! Now I've got to rent
"Strange Brew" to watch it again! :)

They had qute a good track record with alumni making it big, much like
with SNL. Always liked Rick Moranis, who was hilarious as Dark Helmet
in "Spaceballs," and brought so much sweet humanity along with the humor
to his role as Seymour in "Little Shop Of Horrors." And he could
actually sing pretty well too, the full version of "The Meek Shall
Inherit" from the Little Shop soundtrack is really lovely.

SCTV is available on DVD now, though not the first seasons from the late
'70s.
