So very sad to lose Jonathan Frid, who created the role of Barnabas
Collins. He was a big part of my life for years. No one else has ever
created a character with such aplomb and depth. I could listen to him
recite the phone book and look at his picture indefinitely.

Mr Frid was the drive, the original reason kids "ran home to watch..."
not to diminish anyone elses contribution, but he was one of a
kind...I'm very sad that he passed away before seeing his cameo...
